Sunny is the hotel clerk from "Nerds in Paradise", and the main female protagonist of the film. Unlike Betty in the original, she is sweet and kind-hearted. She attempts to help the Tri-Lamb's get their room back but fails. She is tricked into helping get the boys arrested and later, after bailing them out, gets dumped on an island with them. She helps them escape by finding abandoned military equipment.

- Roger Ebert gave the film a bad reveiw partially because he believed it would have been better if Sunny didn't know the nerds were good from the start.
